Boudreau Pipeline Corporation is a Southern California pipeline company that services wet utilities including sewer, water and storm drains. We are heavily involved in conventional and highly complex pipeline projects for Southern California's leading commercial, industrial and residential builders, municipalities, utilities and contractors. Our services can meet all wet utility needs, including installation of sewer, water and fire lines, and storm drain systems.

The Utility Service Laborer position is responsible for performing various physical labor duties on construction projects

• Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using theappropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Properly follows all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures andenvironment
• Reports any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials withshovel
• Follows direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite
• May be called upon to run small power tools such as jack hammer
• Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials
• Lifts, carries and holds material, tools and supplies
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
• Other duties as assigned
  Safety
• Responsible for ensuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all timesincluding but not limited to operation of tools, equipment and machinery
• Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisorimmediately

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with water or sewerutilities
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn products, processes,safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, commonfractions and decimals
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral ordiagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardizedsituations
