The Materials and Services Dispatcher is responsible for processing incoming material and services requests and coordinating all shipments with an accuracy level that allows BPC to maintain jobsite productivity as established by jobsite supervisor, superintendents, and project managers.

• Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel regarding all orders placed, pending, or in transit.
• Maintain record of incoming orders submitted via email, phone call and verbal requests.
• Interface with warehouse personnel to ensure orders requested are prioritized and pulled correctly and timely.
• Ensure shipments are delivered accurately to job sites per jobsite requirements.
• Place urgent/ emergency orders as needed.

• Anticipate and resolve delivery delays and/or driver problems.
• Maintain accurate date in logs and accounting software.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

• 1 year of dispatching experienced required via varied communications methods.
• 1 year of construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, balance competing priorities, consistently meet deadlines, multi-task, and adaptability.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with a variety of software programs (MS Office, scanners, etc.)
