The Utility Safety Analyst will support the Safety and HR Team with a variety of analytical and safety related duties and will support the onboarding team with new hire orientation, paperwork, and training as needed.
• Prepare related safety reports for review, participate in the implementation of approved recommendations, as required.
• Compile reports, track near misses, distribute weekly safety topics, trend analysis, assist with updating and preparing safety presentation material, correct, or report on safety report data discrepancies.
• Schedule training sessions and provide reports on employee training status.
• Track all paperwork, for training and record keeping ensuring compliance.
• Assists with updating IIPP and jobsite binders to ensure updated information is distributed to employee.
• Assist with maintain safety statistics, tracking and reporting. Other record keeping responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist the manager in the coordination, administration of safety meetings, orientations, and audits of the company safety programs.
• Act as a department liaison among Safety, HR, and field operations.
• Must adhere to all federal, state, and local ordinances at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Minimum three (3) years safety analyst experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Utility Construction experience required
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, to ensure adherence to the companies’ safety standards
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Works with high attention to detail and accuracy in the preparation and editing of information
• Quick thinker and able to adapt to changing priorities
• Detail oriented and strong organizational and planning skills
• Construction knowledge and ability to understand the terminology and processes
• Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, be proactive, and take ownership of issues to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
• Self-starter with the skills to research and complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate assertiveness and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $20.25 - $33.75 per hour based on experience
